How Privacy Space began
Privacy Space grew from informal conversations between privacy and security professionals who wanted a place to exchange ideas openly.
What started as small discussions later became online community sessions during the COVID-19 period. When restrictions lifted, the demand for in-person connection led to the first Privacy Space event in November 2022.
Since then, Privacy Space has continued as a biannual gathering built around practical insight, thoughtful debate, and genuine professional connection.
From conversations to community
Informal conversations
Professionals meeting to discuss privacy, data protection, and security issues in a relaxed setting
Online community sessions
Open conversations continued during the COVID-19 period, allowing more people to join remotely
In-person gatherings
Privacy Space became a biannual event from November 2022, bringing the community together in person
Built by privacy people, for privacy people
Privacy Space is shaped by professionals who care about creating a useful, welcoming, and thoughtful space for the privacy community
